This book specifically covers the newly improved 1952 model B one barrel carburetor made by Rochester.   It was standard equipment on all 1952 Chevrolet cars and also on trucks (except trucks with updraft manifolding).   The carburetor could also be used as a replacement part on 1932-1951 Chevrolets equipped with Carter W-1 or Stromberg BX series carburetors, or even the earlier model B.
