Acura manuals
Acura started in 1986 as Honda’s luxury brand. It was the first time a Japanese car maker had ventured into the luxury market, and their success encouraged others to do the same.
Since Acura’s launch in 1986, they have made shop manuals specific to one model, sometimes covering a few years. An Acura factory service manual is therefore going to be very specific and detailed compared to an aftermarket manual.
Acura shop manuals generally cover repair of the whole car except for wiring and collision. You will find out step by step repair procedures for mechanical, chassis, and body repairs in the main book. You’ll see everything from minor adjustments to major overhauls in the service manual.
There are two types of Acura service manuals you may need in addition to the main repair manual:
· Electrical troubleshooting manuals help you diagnose electrical problems, and also show you electrical circuit wiring diagrams.
· Acura body repair manuals primarily include repair instructions that you would need after a collision, such as measurements for frame and door openings, weld and sealant lines, and instructions for attaching or removing sheet metal. For body electrical, see the electrical troubleshooting manual. For body mechanical repairs (like disassembling a door), see the main shop manual.
Since Acuras are popular for customizing, we also carry books that will help you upgrade your Acura’s performance or do a popular engine swap.
