This reprinted manual gives you assembly illustrations down to the last nut, bolt and screw. It shows exploded views of nearly every part of the car, and includes part group numbers. Use this manual to help you disassemble or reassemble parts of your car, and or to help identify parts that may be missing or incorrect. The book contains production and regular production option information. That means that you get information on the base model all the way up to "fully loaded." You will find illustrations for body assembly & mounting, frame, front & rear suspension, brakes, fuel & exhaust, steering, wheels & tires, sheet metal, electrical, radiator & grille, bumpers, and much more. You'll see illustrations for installing the engine & transmission into the car, but the book does not show the inside of these components. You will also find accessories and options such as the radio & speakers, heater, power lift windows, convertible tops and much more. There are exploded views and illustrations on just about every page, with wiring diagrams, torque specifications, and handwritten revision records. Like all assembly manuals, this is reproduced from a book made for use inside the factory, and never intended for the public. Therefore, the print (like the print in original assembly manuals) is occasionally light. This is the best quality print available, and the manual comes with a money-back guarantee for the price of the book. Paperback binding. New condition. Go on and tear that car apart! This book will help you put it back together.

Better than nothing

I've ordered several manuals from this site. All the original manuals are great. This is a repro. This book has copies of official Buick drawings. It only has some of the drawings listed in the section page index. Ex: section 6-10.3 - .5 covers throttle controls. Not included in the book. The drawings are copies of copies of ... So, the small print the in some cases is unreadable (is it a 5 or 6 or blob?). In most cases you can make a good guess on what the number/letter is. In other places the line art is so thin so it didn't make it through the multi-copy process. Ex: a wiring connector block has the wire color called out for each pin. the lines are gone so you don't know what color goes to what pin. Are the pins numbered? Can't tell. There are sections where you can tell that something was there but now it's just a few specks and blobs. The book also has the car order forms. If all the pages were there and copied from the original it would be great.
