The Behring Collection: A Representative Sample by Rob Haeseler (1988). Leather-bound, signed by noted car collector and Blackhawk Museum co-founder, Ken Behring.
An exceptional historical tour through this famous collection, this oversized volume illustrates and describes some of the most fascinating cars. The beautiful Behring collection features classic cars as defined by the Antique Automobile Club of America. Many are one of a kind, "one-off" cars that were made for royalty or movie stars like Rudolph Valentino. The book (and collection) features diverse cars including a 1908 American Underslung Model 50, a 1910 Mercer Model 30 Speedster, a 1920 Pierce Arrow Model 66-A-4 Touring specially commissioned for Fatty Arbuckle, a 1926 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Chassis, an extensive collection of prewar Mercedes Benz, and one of two 1966 Ferrari 365 P Guida Centrales (with the steering wheel in the center so one "wife" could sit on each side).
Book is new. Large-format book measures 17 1/2" x 11 1/4 x 2" (45cm x 29cm x 5 cm). Published by Behring Educational Institute Press.
