Although this book is considered a standard work about the 911, it is particularly suitable for readers with technical understanding and interest. Because it is precisely the technical development history of the vehicle that is the center of attention. You learn all sorts of interesting things, for example why the first series had weights in the front bumpers or why the Carrera of the 80s had 3.2 liters and not 3.3 liters like the Turbo.
Frère's writing style is a bit technical, you have to like that. If you are looking for a book with great pictures that is linguistically captivating, this is the wrong book for you.
