From the preface: It is with great pleasure that we are making available this reprint of the Handbook of Automobiles, first published in 1921 by the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce. The original books have become collectors' items. The book has a "gold mine" of information for owners and collectors of early cars. It is actually a catalog of all cars manufactured in 1921 by firms who were then members of the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce. Therefore, although it does not include every car manufactured in 1921, it does include the most prominent makes. This book will also serve as a guide for collectors and historians because of the authentic information which it contains. It will also preserve for historians and future generations, a record of the many well-known and popular cars manufactured in the year 1921.
